Prime Earth

Garth, currently known as Tempest and was the first Aqualad, is an Atlantean superhero who grew up under the guidance of Aquaman and trained in the notable Altantean school of magic, the College of the Silent School. As an adult, Garth is a resident of the surface world as a member of the Titans.[1]

Like all other Atlanteans, Tempest possess the physical abilities and adaptations of an Atlantean that allows him to survive the deep depths of the ocean: superhuman strength, speed, durability, enhanced senses that allow him to see deep in the ocean and acute hearing surpassing humans. Garth is a vastly powerful sorcerer and he can use magic (although he has sworn not to due to a tragedy during his schooling days) for a variety of effects as well as discharge laser vision. He also possess aquakinesis, able to control water and create whirlpools at a whim. He also has a encyclopedic knowledge of the history of his kingdom, Atlantis in which manifests with his purple eyes.[1][2]
